This year's score is down about 24% from last year - 46 less Qs and 8 less
mults.
We had a bad storm blow through the area Saturday evening/Sunday morning. It
took out quite a few large tree limbs along with most of my wires. I spent
Sunday morning cleaning up the mess and only had time to hang a quickie
80/40/20 meter replacement vertical before the contest.
For most of the contest, it appeared this would be a one band contest here
(40M). The high bands were void of any TnQP activity (too close), and 80 was
nothing but S9+20 QRN due to storms still in the area. About 2200Z, I began
hearing and working TN on 20 and 15. I kept an ear on 10 meters, but nothing
heard or worked there until 2355Z.
Thanks to those who were able to pull me out of the noise on 160. My 80 meter
vertical loaded there, albeit not very well.
Always a pleasure participating in the TnQP. Congratulations to the TCG and
all the TN participants on another job well done. I will see you all again
next year.
