Comments:

Tough contest weekend. I would have to give 15 meters a C+ at
best and 20 came through late in the afternoon, early evening
allowing for a few multipliers I did not think I was going to
snag. Still daylight here at the end of the contest so 40 was
almost useless. I QSY'ed to 40 meters for Dave, K5GN and to my
surprise, we were able to make a QSO (his station did 99% of the
work). It was my only QSO but it was not for a lack of trying to
work a few 6landers I heard on 40.

I had lots of QRN on 20 meters but it's due in part to having
neighbors who are normally gone during contest season. I listened
several times on 10 meters but not a peep heard a signal seen on
the ol spectrum scope.

My apologies to WH6R for the dupe. Between my QRN and you being
off the corner of the beam, I busted your call and figured it out
once you worked a few more stations.

It has been a very cool and damp summer here in Alaska so I'm not
sure we can actually call it summer. The fall colors will begin to
make an appearance this month and the snow won't be far behind.

I really enjoy the low power aspect of this contest. Looking forward
to another contest season and sure hope 10 meters makes a return!
For now, I will take any and all propagation I can get.

Thanks for the QSO's!
