With 15M open so nicely, I spent more time than in previous years. Sure reset
the personal-best level with this one.
On 20M and 15M, Friday night and Saturday morning were much better than
Saturday night and Sunday. Like night and day, as the bands were quite flat
throughout the second 24 hours from out west.
Listened on 10M many times and didn't hear a single signal from anywhere.
Tried 40M on Friday night but not much worked from BC (three countries) -- but
on Saturday night the band offered up another 10 countries for those valuable
mults. The N4JTE 2-element quad, suspended between pine trees with bottom
corners just 3' off the ground, worked best near the end of the opening over
the pole after 0400z when I even had a little run of 10 stations (worth 24
mults).
Thanks for the contacts and the fun.
