Comments:

This was my third attempt at the SS SSB Low Power category from my home
station.

     By 04Z I had 637 QSOs and was at least hanging in there to some degree
with the competition. But, at that point, things took an dramatic turn for the
worse - 40M propagation went long and to the south (as did 80), and I was only
able to muster 73 more QSOs before local Sunday sunrise (ugh).  

     Sunday was good for about 700 QSOs, which was ok, but 200 less than I made
in this same contest last year.

     For some reason I am never able to get the Clean Sweeps very quickly in SS
- I always go into Sunday missing 3-6 mults, and bagging all of them can be a
real adventure.  This year it was Nl, NNY, QC, EWA, and WV, and the last one
needed was West Virginia. W8ZA made my day at 2137Z - I told him that I owed
him a beer should we ever meet at Dayton or elsewhere.  

     Congrats to NH6V at KH6LC, N0KK, and AA5B (I think he was A power) on the
great scores, and thanks to all for the QSOs.
