Comments:

operation from Sierra Madre, on the beautiful South facing slope of Mt Wilson,
with an excellent view of Catalina Island and South America (but absolutely now
view  to the North).  The rig was an ICOM-756 running 100 W to an R-8 vertical
on the roof.  Managed to work JA, CR2, D4, and ZS by skimming along the
mountainside. Next year I'll try to be at W6FA-North, with a mountaintop view
in all directions...
