Comments:

Conditions didn't warrant the 14 hours I spent last year, so I put in just under
7 hours this year -- and they were mostly slow hours. 

The only European action was a two-minute window on Sunday afternoon when I
tried JA on a whim, and two SMs and one OH station came pounding in on a
northwest skew (auroral flutter, but still strong). Then there were none.

Only six JAs, all in a stream just after 2230z Sunday. Kept calling CQ in their
direction, waiting for the decent run I had last year, but six was all there
were.

Worked 9 XE mults, up from six last year. Was shut out of W6, almost all of
W0-land (thanks MO), and only Alaska worked in the 7s. Couldn't even find
Hawaii, let alone any ZL/VK activity, though I'm sure they were all there.

Very disappointed by the band this weekend, but frankly I didn't really hold
out much hope given flux hovering around 100.

I guess solarmax came and went, and we didn't even notice it. There's always
next cycle. 

I better start eating right.
