Comments:

Each station is a K3 + Ten Tec Titan 425 at 1.5kW, YCCC SO2R box. I was
unassisted. Primary antenna is a 3-el SteppIR at 110 ft, second is 4-el at 20
ft. The higher one plays a lot better when conditions are marginal, and mostly
I switched it to favor the running station.

I fell short of a full effort by sleeping in 45 minutes too long on Saturday
morning, probably missing a few mults. Band conditions were pretty stinko
(that's a technical term). EU and AF were represented by a grand total of two
EAs and three EA8s (found both on both CW and SSB), 5N1, and D4C.
No JAs at all until about 2:30 Sunday afternoon, when I heard Oliver work one
at his Sunol Ridge QTH. Turned the antenna around and the "run" started as a
walk (on CW), and probably worked a couple of dozen before the band closed
around 3:45 pm. Didn't even try to run JA on SSB, but worked 3 S&P.

Interesting observation -- I think I counted fewer than six lids asking me to
"Please Copy" their exchange all weekend! Who would have guessed that 10M would
have the lowest "lid" quotient of all the HF contesting bands?

Thanks for all the Qs

73, Jim K9YC
