SOAPBOX: For an even which, according to the published rules "There is 
no point to the Zombie Shuffle whatsoever", it was a GRRR8 way "to get 
on the air and have fun with fellow Zombies and QRPers." to quote the 
"rest of the story from the rules." Thanks to Paul and Jan (NA5N and 
NØQT) for all their efforts to get us Zombies together for this 
momentous (non) earth ending event. From their perspective, it probably 
is worse than trying to herd cats.

WE could have used a 666 times 666 crummy band bonus. Were the Mayan 
gods fiddling with the ions up there? 20 was all but dead at the very 
start, 40 washed out within four hours, QRN from a sn*wstorm started 
early and was building to a crescendo toward the end on 80. Thanks to 
all the ops who sent things over and over so I could pick you through 
the static.

See ya all in 2013. Yup, I'm very glad those who said the Mayan Calendar 
predicted the end of the world were wrong!
