Comments:

An improvement over last year, TX antenna was inverted vee with top at 100ft, RX
was 2 beverages, 600ft long, one for US and the other for EU. 

Summer conditions here mean lots of QRN so the beverages are a must. Conditions
seemed OK with excellent EU sigs coming through on the first night at about 14z
and continuing through to sunrise. 

On the second night there was a good opening to east coast US but we had very
high winds and unfortunately the top fibreglass section holding the inverted
vee broke so I had to finish about 4 hours early and missed the EU peak at our
sunrise.
