This year I managed to get everything ready in time even if the Asian beverage
was ready as late as Friday afternoon before the contest. 

RIG: K3 + Acom 2000 at 1.5kW, 
ANT: 27m vertical, 2 x beverage (300m to NA, 400m to Asia), K9AY loop

Everything worked fine, no problems except for the poor condx to NA during the
first night, when I only worked K3ZM, K1LZ and VE1ZZ. But SA signals were
coming thru well, I worked CE1/K7CA and heard HK0NA with excellent signal,
however no chance to work them because of huge QRM, EU stations calling all the
time and did not care to listen or give a chance to others.

Second night was much better with 20 US states worked plus PJ2, KV4, VK6 etc. 
I did not reach HK0NA again. Also found ST2AR clg CQ on 1833 and called him
alone in vain for over 10 minutes before he disappeared.

I had good fun and enjoyed my favourite Top Band contest.
