Comments:

My body was not in the mood for a contest. I went to bed at midnight on Friday
and did not wake up until past noon on Saturday. At the beginning of the
contest I was working on the club newsletter and was listening to the fray. I
could not pull myself away until it was in order. I probably was fighting the
urge not to contest... strange for me! After things settled in it was great.
Wow! Russians over the pole. I actually ran a pile up! The numbers reflect the
down time. I suppose I was off by over 20%. I slept 2 hours on Sunday after the
European openings. I was hurting when I got up. There is always next year!
