Comments:
Did SOAB/Assisted this time and enjoyed a very limited effort. The new K3 was
just phenomenal, as expected. After using a K3 at C6 for the CQWW, I was
hooked. There is better performance with this K3 than any radio I've ever used
before.
Good propagation, even on 160 and 80 allowed me to roll into pile ups with some
ease of effort. The antenna system worked better than ever, but I'm sure the
new radio had something to do with that opinion. This was one of those
contests where more time running would have been very productive since I only
ran station once on 15 meters only. As always, thanks to those who worked me
and my apology if I QRM'd you unknowingly. It's very easy to get too close to
another station because of the K3 filtering. I had a good time in this DX
contest and only wish I could stay in the chair as I once could.
73 to all,
Natan W6XR
