Comments:

Just for "old time's sake," I thought I would do this one as QRP, having done
many CW contests with 5 watts in years gone by and having never done a RTTY
event with a peanut whistle. Considering the coax run to the new tower, not
more than 2 watts arrived at the top. Why I worked for nearly three hours at
QRP is beyond me, but the rates were so low that it was either QRT or bump
power to 100 watts and have some fun. I never caught up to last year's pace,
despite good conditions on the higher bands and despite additions to the
antanna farm since last February. But the QSO rates compensated for the loss,
and I had fun, which is the most important point. Erin enjoyed the
disappearance of mumbling, too!

Looks like QRP is gladly returned to only Field Day!

Many thanks to the sharp ears during the first three hours!

73, dan
