Comments:
This represents a 34% increase in Q's, a 29% increase in Mults and a 53%
increase in Score over this event last January. 15 and 20 seemed to be quite
noisey and sounded like it was increased atmospheric noise. 10 had
significantly greater noise in the 3rd of the 3 hours I spent there. O course
20 was very crowded with much more QRM than the higher bands. 40 was another
story. The upper and lower ends seemed be crowded and there was a large space
in the middle that was unoccupied. I was able to run a half dozen stations in
the clear spot in the middle. I want to especially thank K3FIV, NR6O and N6BM
for the Q's on 80. They along with NX1P up in OR gave me the 4 Q's and 2 mults
on 80. They were the only statons I heard visit that band segment, other than
K6LL, who I missed. Apparently he was unable to hear me callinghim. I had
readily worked him on 40. It was indeed a fun and exciting event, especially on
10 and 15 meters. I'm now looking forward to what fortune the Summer NAQP might
bring. Bert, K6CSL
