Comments:
Not enough Stanford operators for a Multi-2, so I did a
Single-op my favorite way: QRP SSB!
Big winter winds and rainstorm the previous night and right
through the start, including a rare California Thunderstorm!
I took it as a "good omen."
Just one radio, since for me two-radio SSB would only
decrease my score.
10m was great right from the start, and 15m good, too.
Then I just rotated around 10/15/20 until sunset 01:30Z.
Then one break and work 40m before everyone leaves. Then
another break and a last hour on 80/160m.
This is a personal best for me, and would be a winning
score most years. I don't know what I could do better,
maybe CQ more and S&P less. OK, maybe I have to learn to
use a second radio on SSB...
Thanks for the contacts!
