Comments:

Contest started with a bang on 6m Saturday.  Big Es opening funneled directly in
the the Mid-Atlantic.  During the short run, the pileup had that DX roar.  But
that ended too soon.  After that, the prop moved west, but fell on too much
desert and mountains.  After the short list of strong stations were worked,
that was just about it.  Rest of the contest, a few contacts here and there. 
On Sunday. a few QSOs into FL popped in, following by one weak YV5, worked just
as he peaked here. On 2m, local only.  Did hear XE2OR for 20+ minutes on 2m
tropo, but he never heard my lower power on that band--but exciting!  Anyway,
you can't complain when you get this kind of prop in the January contest.
