Comments:

Sunday midday I threw my 5.7 (2w, 27dBi) and 10G (6w, 31 dBi) dishes into the
well travelled W0ZQ/R-mobile, then added 6m (100w & 2m 5/8 mag mount), 2m (50w
& 4 ele), 222 (10w & 3ele) and 432 (20w & omni) making a 6-band mini-rover. Its
a short trip from my QTH in EN34it to my planned operating spot in EN34is that
has a nice shot to the north. On sked, I worked K0AWU on 10gigs, EN34is to
EN37ed, over a 265km path. Weather was crummy ... 25 degrees, fog with
freezing drizzle. After his Q I was able to make a few more 10gig contacts by
bouncing signals off of the downtown Mpls buildings. From there it was a short
drive up to EN35ja. Made a total of 31 Q's from EN34 and 39 Q's from EN35.
Once home, I had to chip about 1/8" of ice off the antennas and coax connectors
to get the W0ZQ-mobile back into the garage. A fun afternoon of playing radio
here in the banana belt.
