Comments:

I think I had this score mobile one time!! This score from my home station, a
TS450S with NO CW filters, running 100w into an MFJ tuner, to an open wire fed
LOW Vee beam, 200ft per leg, top at 25ft, end of legs at 10ft, pointed East
bi-directional. Not much of an antenna!

Was helping my 11 year old daughter learn about Thomas Edison, and answering
her questions until about 10 minutes into the test.. Decided NOT to go to KD0S
even though its a short 400ft walk.. and get on from home, first time since
2005 when I had the above mentioned Vee beam up at 60ft. Sure works better at
that height!!

Tried keying on 40m CW, locked the rig up, so that took another few minutes to
figure that out.. worked K4BAI, K7SS, NQ6N, and K0TG after fixing 40m RFI
issue, AMAZED anyone could hear me!! Then to 80m, worked K0TG, W4NZ, K6VVA,
N4OGW, K0AD and N0AC. Had to actually hold my hand on coiled up power cord
while operating so the rig wouldn't lock up.. gotta get more ferrite!

Nice part is that my Q to mult ratio is EXCELLENT!! hihi.

It was fun, used the DanWa pencil and paper logging.. no bug however!

Sorry brother Rick K6VVA for the weaky squeaky signal I had on the NCCC after
net, gotta get the Vee up higher this summer.. actually, skip that, just go to
KD0S, MUCH better antennas! I do plan to put up at least 1 90ft tower this
summer, and will hang the Vee from it.. also VHF stuff.. anyhow.

Thanks again for the short fun, and thanks to all who pulled out my weak
signal!!

God Bless, Jesus saves! 73 Todd WD0T
