Club: Alabama Contest Group

Comments:

I really expected conditions to be much worse than they really were.  With the
CME due to arrive just as the contest was starting, I had visions of blackouts
on the bands.

However, there was always someone to work, even if some were stateside guys.

I really missed the late night 20 meter openings to Europe and over the pole.
Those are the most fun things about contesting in the summer.  Too bad they
got wiped-out by Sun.
