Comments:

Retuning from an overseas trip late Friday night, had no energy to drive to my
Vermont contest QTH.( Looking at the disturbed HF conditions forecast did
reinforce that thought.)

SOO decided to just play around from my home QTH on Long Island with just a
stealth wire antenna and a vertical. Found conditions on 15 quite good and
surprise - 10 was open! this had to fun - stuck around all day..Near midnight
still could here the pacific working the EU HQ stations on 10 meters. 

There was a deep fade mid-afternoon, then 40 opened big time - noise levels
were the lowest here, resulting in some decent runs. It was definitely FUN.

Tnx for all who participated - especially the thousands of skilled CW Ops from
all over..
