Comments:

We had a limited number of operators this time so we set up only two operating
positions (2 meters/432 MHz and 6 meters/222 MHz). Stu W7IY set up N1MM to
allow a single button click to switch bands which worked out very well. Stu
and Larry W3LW fixed our interstation interference problems before the contest
started with band pass filters, tuned stubs and cavities. As a result we
encountered no interference problems between the stations the entire contest.
This was a completely portable operation with all equipment, antennas and
generators being transported and assembled at Flag Pole Knob at 4300' ASL in
the George Washington National Forest in Virginia. The 6 meter runs were great
and woking the Europeans during the contest was a blast. As usual, we ate and
drank very well the entire time on the mountain.

6 Meters â€" IC746, modified SB220 at 800 watts, 7 element F12 antenna
2 Meters â€" Flex Radio, Lunar Link amp at 1200 watts, 2 stack of 24 element
C3I antennas
222 MHz â€" TS-2000, Elecraft Transverter, Brick Amp, 24 element C3I antenna
432 MHz â€" Flex Radio, Henry amp at 800 watts, 2 stack of modified 424B
Cushcraft antennas

Thanks for the Qs.

73, Jack W4NF
