Comments:

At least half the contacts were a struggle with the QRN.  The beverages did
little to alleviate the situation.  The DX stations worked (4 EU, 1 SA, 1
Carrib, KH6) were easier copy than most stateside signals, even some from
adjacent grids.  Got a surprise around 0700Z by being called by KH6ZM.  QRT at
0920Z, should have stuck around a bit longer into daybreak.

Considering the conditions, it was disappointing to have a weak one call a
couple times, then bailed out and not attempt to make a contact.  There were
several that could have been logged with some persistence, or even just giving
a moment to select the right beverage!  This event is certainly not a
rate-fest, so a little more time and effort can be devoted to difficult QSOs. 
There were two weak stations, an N5? and N6? that kept trying, but I just
couldn't copy everything through the QRN.  Thank you for trying whoever you
were.  Loudest west coast by far was K7CA, peaking S7 many times (actually
quite strong).
