Comments:

Strange Band Conditions.  Usually 20 is great - not this time!  Was surprised to
beat my 20 Meter activity with good results on 40 meters.  That's a first for
me.  The pleasant surprise was getting DU1BP Sunday morning after working very
hard and long to get him on Saturday morning.  Pretty good DX for an MFJ 1795
Vertical sitting on the ground and running 150 watts.  Life goes on.  My best
ARRL DX Contest since operating W0PAN/KH6 in 1965-1967 when I did 1200 Q's the
hard way with no dup program, manual log, 100 watts, and a 3 element beam at 50
feet - I think KH6IJ beat me in that one by a big factor.  Thanks to all the
great OPs who operated with skill and courtesy.
