Comments:

Not the best condx either day (or maybe Friday night's wind storm blew important
bits out of my antennas), but it was a real struggle, even for one used to QRP
contesting. Thanks to all who listened and patiently asked for repeats.
Thanks, too, to all the big guns that provided most of my contacts, in part
because they exhaust their pileups, giving me a chance to sneak in a call that
can be heard without competition. Thanks to PJ2T for the "ESP QSO" on 10m
Sunday afternoon.

Sat AM paths to Eu were warming up here when the bottom dropped out with
reduced signal strengths and high noise levels. The bands didn't fully recover
for hours, but I could make myself heard once in a while. Sunday was "just OK"
or worse, and making contacts was a real struggle. Rates of under 10 Q's per
hour make me want to go watch the game. As usual, 20m was a battle ground,
while 15m still had room to spread out a little. 40m was a zoo and made it
extremely hard to be heard - half my 40m Q's were made "running split". I gave
80 and 160m a try, more than once, but could not be heard. QRP SSB contesting
sure takes determination and tenacity. Best rx to all and I hope to see you in
the next big one! 73 de k8tk - Tim
