Another very hot weekend in Perth, spent all day outside on Saturday getting
antennas ready in 40c heat, just finished in time! 

Bands were unpredictable here but 10 and 15 were open to the UK at the start so
I stuck with them for a while thinking that I may not get another good
opportunity. I don't think we were as badly affected as some(especially
VE's)given the solar storms, 40 was very good and on 80 sigs were quite strong
from EU. 

Had the normal very quiet periods in the hours around 0300z with only a few
QSO's during the hours around that time. 

10m provided the best rate in the last hour of the contest with a decent
opening to the UK again but signals were down compared to recent conditions.
