Have only dipped into this contest in previous years. Thought I would try a
serious entry this year in the 12 hour section. May not have picked the best
on/off periods but had to fit around family committments. 

An enjoyable contest. Judging by the G pileups on rare multipliers there seemed
to be a good UK turn out. Conditions to VE did not, unfortunately, seem
particularly good on any band and the VE QSO count was well down on expected.
