Comments:

More and more, the RDXC is one of of my favorites contest . My goal this edition
was to reach 2000 Q's on CW with my installation and I have been very close. I
have exceeded the target for the 2000 Q's but after eliminating duplicate Q's
the number has fallen a bit short.

The 24 hours format is perfect for even without sleep in the previous days in
excess I can to participate . This time I had to sleep one hour Sunday morning
because I could not stay awake any longer.

A couple of days before this contest, my second yagi antenna the higher bands
has started to malfunction. It's a shame because only a few months ago I
finished the entire antenna's setup, new ones and mantenaince of the old one's.
In the coming weeks I must repair the problem and hope to do it before the WPX
CW contest. I think it's a bug in the coaxial balun at the top of the antenna.
Thus I could not use this yagi and I had to use my old antenna vertical and the
truth is that it worked very well. I have also rechecked that I have to improve
my antennas for 80 and 160 and reinstall as I had done something similar at
least 15 years for these bands. My current OCF dipole 82 meters long works
reasonably well up to 80 meters but this low-level and not at all competitive
contests.

My set-up is : IC-775DSP+ IC-756proIII + 2X3-500Z PA + 3 ele Yagi up 18mtrs up
+ OCF dipole for 80-160 mters.
