Club: Maritime Contest Club

Comments:

A year ago I was in Newfoundland (as my alter-ego VO1TTT/m) running this contest
as I drove along the barren landscape and signals were huge.
Today, the signals were not as much and I was sitting in my confy shack.
Lots of familiar callsigns and a few odd ones.  Be interesting to see who was
behind the mask on some of them, hi !

A good turnout of 7's

Later on in the contest, I started hearing W1's on backscatter, so would take a
sweep up the band, cruising for 7's, then change the logging program and take a
sweep DOWN the band an d look for ones.  This really got confusing after a
while.  I did heaar a few 9's but was already having a hard time knowing who
was who, so couldn't do the INQP also (sorry!)
