Comment:

Due to already taken commitment, started just for testing the operation 
in contest using an SDR radio (Flex 1500) along with the Hercules DJ 
console as User Interface.
The Combo worked out very well, the external UI allowed having the focus 
on the logging program while operating the radio to its full extent 
(tuning, filter adjustment, AGC, VFO's swap, etc).
As pointed out by others, conditions were very good and 5W proven to be 
satisfactory for most of the cases, with some exceptions while trying to 
work backscatter the big european contest stations (no way to be heard), 
thus alot of very close by and easy one missed.
