Comments:
This is probably my favorite contest.
Cut numbers have their use, but not in SSCW.
The last multiplier was (VE6) late Sunday morning, the usual difficult sections
called early. I was getting nervous!
I enjoyed using spotting/packet this time.
Shut off the Skimmer/RBN early with more busted calls than real ones.
Was fun watching GetScores. Could really push number higher with more
participants in there.
Hurricane Sandy blew the 40m beam 30 degrees out while the high-band beam was
180 degrees out. One problem was that the center was at about 250 degrees, so
point in to PAC and then to Carib/FL need to spin the whole way around.
The new 2el 80m verticals worked well with good f/b.
