Comments:

Decided to run unassisted for a change this year. Surely sacrificed some
multipliers by doing so and ended up 6 short of a sweep. But the big change was
a gain antenna on 20 meters - I reassembled and erected my ersatz Field Day beam
at 35 feet, pointed it east, and boy what a difference being able to run rate.

I'll count this as my best sweepstakes ever even though we had a better score
in 2009, but that was for 24 hours and I only worked 12 this time. I'll need to
clear the decks next November and do my duty to ham radio. Maybe even have gain
on some other bands, who knows. It's time.
