Comments:

Bands were up and down here; my enthusiasm waxed and waned with the geomagnetic
disturbances. Stayed up too late trying for new countries on 80 and 40 so I did
not wake up early enough for 10 and 15M.

With the encouragement of my XYL I spent some time outside continuing progress
on my little Hex beam--I wished I had made time to get the antenna on the air
before the contest. I also walked the dogs (with her) and made a new compost
bin. Moral of the story: When the solar storms hit it is perfectly OK to take a
break!

Along my my gratitude to *all* DX ops who worked to pull me from the noise, I
especially thank C5A and D4C for five bands. Special mention to the ops at
EL2A for four bands and the new entity: My thanks!

First time having the spots running and found it very interesting indeed. First
thing I learned was that I had a spotter blacklist and how to fill it up! I did
not have two radios running but I can see how this could make things really fun
especially for a puny station like mine.

All my best, thanks again...
