Comments:

Hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving!

Just home from Florida, I slept in and got on 10 meters starting about
13:43zulu and could tell it had been open for hours.

Well...my 10 meter operating position is having an amplifier repaired, so I
pulled some coax over to the 80m station and left the beam on EU...and pounced
on everything I heard until I was up to just about 100 countries...then ran my
way into a DXCC and 300+ QSOs. That was FUN, I was on for far longer than any
rational single-op would have been, they had all defected to 15.

Next stop: 15 meters. Uh-oh, that band is almost fished out and I just got
here. NO chance to get DXCC on this band so easily.

I know...I'll do that on 20. Not going to happen, there just aren't that many
folks on 20.

I enjoyed pouncing on that 9m skimmed on 20...and got back to 15 meters at
6:40pm just in time to listen to W3LPL run some JAs....and work a few myself
and poof - the contest was over.

A great way to spend 5+ hours on the radio today...my hat is off to team W3LPL
for an awesome score in challenging, yet interesting conditions.

73,

Jim WX3B
