Comments:

I did a lot of promotion for Gibraltar as my double 6 often got shorted to B.
Hectic start on Thu as I thought I didn't bring my TS-480 control head. So
after negotiating with OH2BH for spare radio I went to Gnjilane in order to
help OM Sabit, 80, Z61AA with his FT-920 and vertical antenna. Solid wooden
mast was loaded just with 10 m vertical wire good for 40 and 15 m. I wanted to
add 5,3 m and 2,6 m ones for 20 and 10 m bands. Sabit bought two 3 m long
poles and one kept PVC isolated wire in the upright position. However, it
refused to resonate on 14 MHz! After a while I read that the pole was made of
steel :-) Everything was fine after replacement with plastic tube on Sat
afternoon. I showed OM how to use tuner and DSP filter and made few QSO. His
PSU is 10 A only so I intended to try mine. Yaesu and Kenwood power connectors
don't match BUT I found my TS-480 head hidding underneath the switcher! It was
already dark outside but I drove back to famous Gracanica Serbian monastery and
Evropa motel nearby. 20 m Windom was droped from the second floor and I spent a
night doing 40 m with very noisy background. Additional 20 m of wire was
attached on Sun evening for 80 m band. Lot of bad contacts with cinch phono
plug of my 1:4 xfmr kept me away from the radio.
I'd like to thank to OH2BH for his educatonal efforts here and kind offer to
join Goodwil team operating Z60WW from two hotels. Nice to meet Driton, Z61DX.
It is pity that ARRL DXCC desk is so behind 90+ countries that recognize Kosovo
as a special case. USA and EU are leading the recovery. This is vibrant
country full of noisy young people enjoying 100 years of Albanian independence.
We can all help them with the best scientific hobby of 21st century. Thanks
WAE and CQ for a new multiplier which brought me several pile-ups and a lot of
fun!

73 de Mario, S56A, N1YU
