Comments:

Well ten hours more time (versus 2011) amounted to: +92k score, +26 Qs, -4
zones, and +15 DXCC...and last year wasn't assisted. Guess the good thing is
I'm consistent, hah!

Thought I did pretty well day one (59% of QSOs). Made some strategic errors on
day two (41% of QSOs)...chasing mults instead of CQing! I was concerned
propagation was going to get worse on day two! K index was between 2-4 on day
one then between 0-1 on day two so I was wrong...oops! Most 10m Qs were made on
day one.

Pretty cool to hear KC1XX + W3LPL on 20m at 1912z day one although no QSO.

I'm a believer in the 20 min power naps now. Took two separate naps on day two.
Worked out well. Total sleep time was about four hours during the contest. Only
had about four hours sleep going into the contest. Over here the contest starts
at 0430 local. Had to take some chow hall breaks! Happy to get a full 7.5 hours
sleep after the contest.

Stats:
Best 60 min rate: 132 Qs
EU 86% (three pointers!)
Asia 12%
Missed zones: 1,2,3,4,6,7,10,27,34,38,39

Progress stats:
1st 12 hours 663-37-120
2nd 12 hours 965-46-145
3rd 12 hours 1392-56-198
Final 1645-63-218

Congrats to Ilian T6LG who made 3k+ QSOs!

Equipment:
Yaesu FT-857D (27k+ QSOs from T6 now)
Off center fed dipole at 30 feet
WriteLog

Looking forward to ARRL 10m....another score to beat from last year, hah!

Happy Holidays & Best of health to all,
Eric T6MO
