Comments:

Fun contest this year! Although some of the bands were not really good on the
first day, we made up for it with better propagation on the second day. This
was the highest number of QSO's we have turned out from W8AV and the highest
score we have posted from the station.

Murphy did strike a couple times during the contest. FIrst the 40 meter
antenna stopped turning and was stuck pointed south late Friday evening. This
meant a trip up the tower by K4LT to brute force the antenna back to point it
on EU where it remained for the rest of the contest. We also have some issues
with the 15 meter radio in that it suddenly stopped making RF. Fortunately, I
have some spare 930's around here that were pressed into service to get us back
on the band.

20 meters was incredible on the first night allowing us to have good runs into
EU several hours before local sunrise. 15 was also pretty good and better on
Day 2 than on Day 1.

We were surprised by the propagation on the low bands at this part of Cycle 24.
There were a lot of good mults to get on 80 and 160.

Congrats to all participants in the M/2 category. Thre were some incredible
scores turned in this year in this category!
