Comments:

Sure can't beat 10m in a phone contest. I love the wide-open spaces where I
can hear a pin drop and work the weakest of signals!

Since I don't enjoy phone contests and crowded bands, I decided to be serious
on 10m during the prime run hours to Europe and hopefully to JA. Wanted to
give Win-Test a serious try for logging for the first time also. My 160 and
80m antennas need work, as does my 15m stack so there was not going to be a
serious all band effort.

One radio (FT1000mp), one amplifier (Alpha 86), one antenna (M2 7L 10m @ 68').

Operated just under 17 hours on 10m and another 10 hours on the other bands to
build the club score for YCCC. Never did tune for multipliers much on 10m -
has five 200 hours on Saturday morning and five 180 hours on Sunday morning to
Europe.

Full score:

160 3 2 3
 80 35 12 25
 40 282 24 62
 20 218 29 71
 15 170 22 49
 10 2661 30 112
     ---- --- ---
     3367 119 322 4,257,855

Next step is to get into the 21st century and automate some things like sound
card audio for CQing...

Looking forward to conditions like this for CQWW CW!

   73 Tom
