Comments:

Yuck! This was worse than last years All Asia Phone experience(64Score pts) 
Nothing lie CW this year(43x39mults) I found myself working more elective DX
stations, like KH8/W8GEX, American Samoa, than Asian stations. On Sunday
afternoon I heard Masa, JH4UYB CQing about 14.320. He was at slightly better
than ESP level, underneath a state side ragchew. I didn't dare try to call him
on top of the obvously busy frequency. My guess is Masa didn't hear the statons
on the frequency and I doubt they heard him. It was like that most of the
weekend here. Stations running in the Colorado and Tennessee QSO Parties were
almost everywhere and there seemed to be very few Asian Stations. I couldn't
tell if it was conditions or not. It was sure a frustrating week end. I could
hear the "big guns" working Asian stations that I obviously was not hearing.
Oh, well, on to the next adventure. I was hearing lots of Eu stations all week
end. I hope that's a better omen for WAE next week end. Bert, K6CSL
