Comments:

I attended the DXCC East covention in nearby Frederick, MD saturday during the
day; those very rare ones seldom make it on the air without a lot of effort,
danger to ops, and high cost. So, I wasn't thinking much about QP's scheduled
for the weekend. I stumbled across the KSQP in the 23Z hour, activity was
pretty sparse and OQP + RTTY contest made 40M nearly unusable from here.

Sunday, I missed the first 100 minutes for no good reason, then also about
another 45 for the mother of all slow moving thundershowers. I was still
getting precip static on the antennas at times after that.

Mobile activity was pretty good and I managed to spell out KANSAS SUNFLOWER
with good acitivty from all letters except the A, even N6MU was looking hard
for N0A and K0A; K0A finally showed up and was helped by W0BH switching from
K0S to K0A from at least one county. There was quite a bit of cross coverage of
counties, but being able to log 65 counties was pretty good for my limited
time.
Thanks to all of the mobiles, most worked was probably K0S, with W0R, K0R, K0O,
NU0Q, and WY0I providing several counties. Conditions on 20 were good whenever I
was on the air. Thanks to you all!

73, Jeff
