Not a whole lot of fun this time. I didn't get on until Saturday due to ice
detuning the antenna. Friday the SWR at 1800 was over 3:1, but by Saturday the
resonant point had moved up to around 1810. I still had to turn off the amp
above 1840 and use the ATU in the K3 to get any power out. Not too many QSOs
above 1840 for that reason.

Conditions really seemed to be bad. I usually work quite a few 6-land guys, but
this time I only heard a couple and they couldn't hear me at all. PJ2T is
normally loud here and an easy QSO on 160. This time I could barely hear him
and never could get through for the contact. There was also a dearth of East
Coast stations here and many of the 9s I usually work easily couldn't hear me.
I sure hope conditions are better for CQ 160.
