Comments:

Our first contest with the new 160 Meter "C" Antenna (only the 160
Meter portion of a double L) and it worked pretty well!  If I learned one thing
from this contest is how much I need a listening antenna!  I have plans to put
up a pair of bidirectional Beverage antennas but nothing at this point other
than the C so thank goodness for the FT-5000's great receiver.

Frank K1EBY came up and did the running and I filled in while he as taking
breaks.  Everything worked great, no breakages and the only annoyance was a
noise that cropped up on at a couple of locations (1.810 MHz and 1.920MHz). 
Haven't heard it before so a new thing to challenge to find and eliminate.

10 Meter contest next weekend!
