Comments:

Started at county antenna lot, TS-440S, Ameritron AL-811H, 600 watts to 500'
horizontal loop at 40 ft.  Not a good antenna for 160, way too low.  Gave up
after 2 hours as bad idea, packed up in the dark and went home.  Flex 3000, 100
watts to 22' flagpole, worked 25 more contacts in 16 sections.  Hope to have a
vertical or inverted L up at county lot for the CQ 160 contest.
