I was home mid-week for a change so thought I would play - dragged out the old
straight key - when I sent the first characters to adjust, the spring went
flying.. never could find the dang thing. So I used a Bencher paddle in manual
mode as a "side-swiper". Cringed after I called W1NN and he replied
"W1EJ???" - was it really THAT bad??  Thanks goodness for keyers and
keyboards!
