What a differnce an amp makes.  I built the KPA500 amp and the KAT500 ATU
starting Wednesday and cabled it all up an hour before the contest started. It
was a totally different experience working HP, I loved it. I would have had a
higher score if my XYL hadn't decided that the dining room had to be painted
Sunday afternoon.
