Comments:
Wasn't planning to do much in the contest. Skipped the first hour to have dinner
with the family. Discovered the low band Friday night were amazing. Don't think
I have ever heard 40-160 all so good at the same time.
Rates on 20 and 15m were insane. Best 60 mins was 208! That got me hooked on
the contest and then couldn't stop.
Nice to have all bands open. Certainly relieves the crowding. Was nice to have
a quiet frequency to hear those weak 5 watt guys.
My K5 call doesn't usually attract JA callers, but conditions were so good Sat
night that I had a decent run on 20m.
I had 44 6-banders! That has to be a personal best. 65 more on 5 bands.
