Comments:
I initially thought I'd be able to do only a part-time effort but plans changed
and I got to enjoy the full ten hours. I put XE2MX in the log within seconds of
the 10 hr. time limit for a new mult. on 80. (Whew!)
The bands were in pretty good shape, though ten meters was a little wierd
(again). Backscatter was the game. The only way I could work anyone, including
east coast and gulf areas, was with the beam pointing west. Sort of like using
an ionospheric rear-view mirror. It was actually nice not having to switch
antenna directions on that band. I saw a little of that on 15 as well, but not
as pronounced.
Thanks for the Qs! 73 - Paul, K0PK
