Comments:

This contest was motivation to put the 160m W8AMZ reduced 1/2 sloper antenna. On
Weds night it was up and ready to test...with good results too! Eleven JA on the
first night so that was very encouraging. Then work got in the way, hah! Trip to
Lashkar Gah on Fri and Sat resulted in missing the first five hours of darkness.
The second period of darkness (1313z-0239z) had some crummy propagation (high K
index). Then a trip to Garmsir District early Monday (and preparation for it)
wiped out the third period of darkness. Also had a LTC here so had some
training for her etc. So high hopes and expectations met the reality of
