Comments:

2013 OH2HQ IAURU -HF HQ radio amateur station operation was divided in southern
Finland only. OH2HQ antenna locations were in SRAL summer camp in EVO (
national hiking area)in Lammi, Hämeenlinna, small Karijoki village near west
coast, Mustila OH5NQ in Elimäki near Kouvola and near Hamina.
Generally speaking at upper band HF propagation was demanding in Saturday, but
at Sunday 3h opening was noticed also in 10m. This contest was special
experience for radio operators due to nordic disturbances. At 20m band was open
short time to JA, but for NA direction very diccifult skip conditions... maybe
due to aurora type disturbance, but still some QSO's were able to reach even
to NA.
At EVO SRAL camp, qroup of young contesters, were taking part to ham training
education. Youngsters had they surely first contest QSO's with the help of
experienced OH -tutors. At EVO we had 6el for 21MHz band and 40m dipole. In
Karijoki 20m CW antenna was 4el beam 24m up rig IC756Pro 3 with Inrad filters
and spider beam 10m up for 21MHz CW. At 10m CW near Hamina Kari OH5TS had Rig
K3 @ L4B, 600 w out, jp-2000 @ 18 m main dir and jp-tribander @ 15 m
+120deg.For Mustila Elimäki antennas see OH5NQ web info. Thank you for all
QSOs and hopefully meet you agn in SAC 2013.
