Comments:

Interesting and very unpredictable conditions on 10m. I lost my amp a couple
days before the contest and efforts to find a 4.7V Zener on the island were
futile so it was LP for this contest. Never reallyy got any runs going. My best
hours were a 76 Q's at 1800z on day two and a 74 Q hour at 1500z on day one. I
also ended up with several other matters to attend to which made it difficult
to sit in the chair for the full time 10m was open and I probably missed at
least 6-8 solid hours of 10m openings.

We had a full line-up from 8P - I heard 8P6EX, 8P6NW, 8P1V and 8P5A on 10m
which was great but probably would have impacted the relatively low rates since
US stations would have found the 8P mult easy to come by.

I was great hearing many old friends and so many outstanding signals.

Antennas included 2 & 3 element LFA2's which were pointed to the USA and fed in
phase using a stackmatch for most of the contacts. On a few contacts the 2el LFA
was used because it is so much quieter than its 3el brother.

Rig was a Yaesu FT950 with a Microham MK2R+ providing all the interfacing,
voice keying rig control etc.

Thanks for all the stations who called in and look forward to the CQ WPX in a
couple weeks.

73's, Dean - 8P6SH
