Comments:

Restricted power limit in the Bahamas kept us to 200 watts and moving around a
lot to find a run frequency. Went from 3 operators last year to 5 ops to run
on our 3 stations which included two TS-2000s and an old TS-430 with no rig
interface! Our operators included newbie contesters but they helped us drive
the score to a new record for our field day site. Our antennas were all wires,
no yagis, on a hill with a water view towards all of North America. While we
had a strong lengthy opening on 10 meters before the contest on Friday,
conditions on 10 m. were less favorable on Saturday and Sunday with only short
openings toward New England and Maritimes. Propagation on 160m. was worse than
last year. Better scores on 15, 20, 40 and 80 meters than last year. Most
excitement was finding VE8GER, but no VY0 or VY1 or VO2. There were 23 six
banders:
K0KX,K0RF,K3LR,K5TR,KB1H,KG7H,N0IJ,N2BJ,N2IC,N2NT,N3RD,N4KG,N5RZ,N6ZZ,NR4M,NX0X,VY2ZM,W0AIH,W2PV,W3LPL,W3MF,W6WB,WS5J

All around had fun. Thanks to everyone who called us! Many were new
operators, recent AE and AG upgrades, QRPers, DXers, mobile operators, even an
18 wheel trucker.
